March 2021
Founding of Global Grassroots Consulting
Ian Shepardson, CEO of Global Grassroots Consulting, founded the social impact organization in March of 2021. After just 2 months of being released from his previous full time role, he was ready to turn his dream into a reality.
After Global Grassroots Consulting's incorporation, Ian began his work to connect with social entrepreneurs in an effort to promote his brand, create partnerships and indentify potential clients.
June 2021
Our First Client
In June of 2021, Global Grassroots Consulting established their first client! Primed OD, led by the courageous Kiera Penpeci, is a DEI consulting organization that improves DEI practices within organizations. Check out their website to learn more!
August 2021
Creation of Global Grassroots Consulting's Website
After weeks of hard work, Global Grassroots Consulting published the first edition of their website! It has come a long way since then and we are grateful for all those who have viewed and interacted with it since. Thank you.
Global Grassroots Consulting's Second Client
In August of 2021, Global Grassroots ocnsulting established their second client! Humanity thru Equity, led by the humble Sydni Makemo and Chiavone Mobley, is also a DEI consulting organization that improves DEI practices within organizations. Check out their website to learn more!

In November, Global Grassroots Consulting established their third client, buildingPULSE. buildingPULSE is a sustainability organization that uses technology and IoT processes to establish energy savings for breweries in the Santa Rosa region. Click here to learn more about their work.

Founders for Good Network
In December, we established the Founders for Good Network, a networking group on LinkedIn for social entrepreneurs. Founders for Good Network is a space for leaders of social ventures, and general do-gooders, to share problems that they are facing, helpful tips and accomplishments. Anihan Technologies: A New Client
In December, Global Grassroots Consulting established their newest client, Anihan Technologies (AniTech). AniTech is a sustainability organization based in the Philippines. AniTech uses technology and IoT to help companies in the food production supply chain process, reduce on food waste and food loss. 1/3 of the global food supply is wasted each year.
